Actually a bit creepy if you think about it. The Wine Director standing in dark intimate dining room at a fine restaurant fondling this guys iPhone for a long period of time, lovingly caressing it while this guy is waiting for his dinner dining alone. The whole image creeps me out!

So I looked at the original post on Macrumors.com and viewed the profile of the gentleman who posted it. His name is Kevin Vogt. I googled his name and he is the Wine Director at Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. He has also written some articles for various wine magazines and other publications, which might explain why the post is very well written. Just some more info...

yes, it could still just a story, there is no confirmation of anything this guy has said. But that doesn't mean it sstill not a cool story. I know it had me drooling!

It says STEVE needs to OK every iphone user. Kolizon said he was not high up the apple/at&t chain at all. Why would Jobs let a noname rep test the phone?

Kolizion stated (if i remember correctly) that there was NO GPS in the phone, and that it would probably be offered via some external device, on launch. That is also what this guy said. That there was no GPS in the phone.

This guy said that there is not GPS right now...not saying that it's not a possibility, but if there isn't GPS capabilities now, then I doubt there will be when it launches...making kollizion a liar.

Kolizion said that GPS would be possible. Now we're hearing reports that it's gonna be an external device. It's possible.

There has to ba a past between jphawkins and Kolizion. Why else would he personally be so intent on proving him false? What could the connection be?

I really hope that there is GPS. It would be great to be bluetooth so your phone can charge while showing you where to go. Hopefully the info kolizion generously provides tonight will help!

Hahaha...there is no connection. I just think that you guys are falling for this person that has not been proven yet. He has not said anything that would prove that he IS an Apple employee.

About the GPS - kollizion said that a GPS add-on will be available at launch. This wine director guy said nothing that would suggest it..in fact it suggests that it will come in weeks time.

if you want 'proven' data i suggest you keep to apple.com and att.com. thats the ONLY place where you will get 'proven' information. if your interested in hearing potential rumors and inside information, than this is your place. nothing here is ever proven. all speculation
