Default iphone stuck in recovery mode!

Hey all,
My iphone has been working fine up until today. It froze and so I did a hard reset and it went into recovery mode. I've tried and tried to kick it out of recovery mode using ziphone and iliberty+ but to no avail. I'm really trying to avoid restoring so what other methods can I take?

I have been able to get out of recovery mode using iFuntastic's tool for doing just that. Good luck!

Im on windows so i don't think i can use ifuntastic. When I try to kick it out of recovery using iliberty for example, it reboots but just goes back to the recovery mode screen again....

Why don't you try the iPhone Modifications forum where all the hackers and unlockers hang out? I think your question would get more replies there.

I am sure this will work. Go to www.ziphone.org and download ziphone software. Download, install and run. Hit the top left button 'Do it all'. And you should be done

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP!!
I have a brand new 16GB 2.1 iPhone.
I was halfway through only jailbreaking and activating it (not unlocking it) with ZiPhone and it froze. So I unplugged the iPhone.
It is now stuck in recovery mode with the picture on the screen of the iPhone being plugged into iTunes.
When I plug it into iTunes, I get the message "The iPod sofware update server could not be contacted".
Please help as my phone is totally locked!
Oh, to save anyone the bother of typing out all the instructions, I've tried holding down the home and power key, etc., about a million times :-(
Any help you could give me would be so much appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Rachel x

download quickpwn and the proper firmware. When you plug your phone in it should start the process and take you through putting your phone into DFU mode and start a restore with the new firmware. If you can get your phone into DFU mode you can probably restore through iTunes. Is your phone detected by iTunes? If so try and restore. Let us know what happens.

You can't use Ziphone for the newer firmwares. Use this walkthrough...
