Default iPhone Not turning on

My phone was on all the time battery was full i left it on my desk then went to take a shower came back and noticed it was off, i tried turning it on nothing happened.. i tried syncing it apparently it couldnt sync because the iphone was not found? any solutions? im sort of new to the iphone and itunes

Try resetting - hold the home button at the same time you press the sleep button on top next to the SIM tray. Hold both until you see the Apple.

Have you also tried rebooting your computer? Does the USB port you are using work properly (try changing ports)?

Does your iPhone have any power? If not, have you tried just plugging the iPhone into an AC outlet?

nothing lighted up

but i heard the ding ding sound from my computer when it noticed something was plugged in but itunes couldnt sync my iphone because it wasnt "found"
