iphone freezing?

When my iphone goes into standby mode a black screen i can't seem to get it back , the only way i can get it back up is to hold the home and standby key for 10 seconds and the iphone resets . Is anyone having the same trouble where is wont wake up out of standby mode

Hi -- Yes, mine's been doing it, as well as my wife's over the past week or two. I have to hold down both buttons for 10 seconds to get it to come back to life..

that used to happen to me, i found out if i double click the top right power button it will reset it fast

that sounds like a problem I would take up with apple. First I would do a full restore, and then if it still keeps up, I would take it in to an Apple store and have them look at it. That does not sound like anything "normal."

EDIT: I really need to look at the date of the OP. Why did someone respond to this initially? It is over 6 months old!

I was searching for problems similar to mine, and this thread turned up, so I replied and brought it back to life.
