iPhone contact sync

hi I had an issue with corrupt contacts on my iMac locking up my iPhone which has meant that I have had to enter contacts straight onto my phone. If I delete the contacts on my mac and sync will the contacts I have now entered onto my phone get backed up in my mac address book

Cant believe no one knows this one. Maybe I was a bit longwinded!

Here's what I have done;

1. I have have wiped all the contacts from my imac address book (due to corrupt contacts...long story)
2. I have entered contacts manually to my iphone

When I next sync my iphone with itunes will my iphone contacts get backed up (synced) in my imac address book?

Yes. Data entered in the phone will sync to your mac just like data entered on your mac will sync to your iphone.
