Yes, assuming the iBook has iPhoto on it. When the iPhone is docked, iPhoto should open up and ask you to import your photos. Simple.
If it doesn't show up, make sure it's on the iBook by looking for it in your Application folder. If you've never opened iPhoto before, you will have to open it first and answer Yes to the question that pops up, 'Do you want to use iPhoto to import photos from your digital camera?'. Then dock the iPhone.
yea i know that it comes with all macs that is why i was thinking twhy he wouldnt have it... i guess that yea there is a slight chance that he could have uninstalled it
