trust me. if it is a question that has been asked to death I might tell you that there is a thread already started, but I at least try to provide a link. I was new not too long ago, and I still learn things all the time. Telling someone to use the search button... while it is sound advice, it comes off a little offensive. True that would have helped, but not everyone is used to the forum structure and all. Anyway... :P
