well...WOR...I have a 3.5 year old, and there is nothing more distracting than "Oh!!! my juice, my juice!!!" or "Daddy....daddy...daddy...daddy. Guess what...chicken butt"

I'm not saying it is a good idea to watch a movie while you drive, I'm just saying you are probably no more dangerous than me reaching behind me trying to get a crayon off of the floor.

I am actually getting angry reading this. My heart is racing thinking of my kids dying in an accident because a driver is distracted due to watching a freaking movie! It is easy to get distracted by thoughts and people talking and kids whining, etc. Accidents happen even when you are paying full attention to driving. Why would anyone give themselves more distractions? This is ridiculous. I hope you stop this foolishness before someone gets hurt.

Actually its similar to glancing at a windshield mounted tom tom or any gps mount in your car...even the in dash gps requires you to glance over at it occasionally for some info, even though it may be turn by turn voice, you still might need to know what street your on etc. but the difference is that with a movie, your mind will get absorbed in the plot, the soundtrack, the characters, etc. and you may start to daydream...and that means your on autopilot, and your reflexes are reduced...which = an accident waiting to happen. Be careful.

yanno i used to think the people i see reading the paper while doing the morning drive
were pretty stupid,i have even people reading books as well......ladies putting on there makeup and believe it or not i have even seen guys using electric shavers in the drivers seat........just part of the beauty of florida and the daily grind i guess.......but its all wrong to do

i used to think you were an intelligent person by your post content and structure but i can not think that way any longer about you........PLEASE GROW UP BEFORE SOMEBODY GETS HURT,stop justifying this with other distractions, its wrong and you know it is

i really just hope you were trying to get somebody to convince you that this is wrong
and not the just wanting attention type thing cause if thats the case you certainly do not deserve to drive or even yet you are not grown up enough to own an iphone

and one last thing i hate you for making me sound like a parent and feeling old by posting this

it's not just the fraction of a second you may take your eyes off of the road. It's having your brain occupied by one MORE unnecessary thing while driving. Carrying out a conversation is bad enough...

bottom line is no matter who you are, our brains can only handle so much information at one time... and even less if you're trying to do two drastically different things like driving a vehicle and watching a movie.

I'm trying to catch up after my vaca here, so I'm not even going to read all this. My only comment is

FAIL...... FAIL BAD! This is an extremely poor lapse of judgement that hopefully you'll grow out of.

I hate to be so harsh, but you kind of admitted it yourself with the tone of the original post. This is a retarded thing to do. Stop it. Thanks.

It's really just inconsiderate of the rest of humanity, innit? Is getting movies in THAT important to ya?

Dude here is a link to a website of that email i was talking about

This guy was texting while he was driving

DO NOT LOOK AT THIS IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH THIS IS VERY VERY GRAPHIC

Now how would you feel if it wasnt you but if you caused this to happen to someone else or to someones child god forbid

STOP THINKING ABOUT WHAT U LIKE THINK ABOUT THE OTHER PEOPLE YOU COULD KILL

If you wanna watch a movie....... STAY OUT OF THE F'ING CAR

Alright, let the verbal lashing begin, I'm ready for it...
wild, you can keep knocking on the devil's door, but one of these days he's gonna answer....No movie is that good that you should risk your life or anyone else's. Please use more common sense. BTW, I still respect you, just not your lack of common sense. Just like Hayes who thinks he can drive and text at the same time. Reminds me of the people who drive drunk and say they are great drivers when they are drunk. The graveyards are full of people who think they can drive drunk, while texting or while watching movies, etc.
