Default I'm Freaking Out

While attempting to jailbreak with Ziphone...it was taking forever so I clicked cancel process. It said process canceled successfully and then my iphone screen remained blank with a little white box in the corner. I unplugged the phone and it said...something along the lines of gated_message cable removed, stopping stack. No buttons will respond and the iphone will not be recognized by my computer. I'm freaking out so much. What should I do???? Can anyone help??

Yes, it'll be fine. Just relax. It's pretty much impossible to ruin your phone with ziphone.

First, try powering down the phone, then hold the home button while you plug it into the dock (attached to the computer)... this should set it into restore mode. Then restore to 1.1.4 using iTunes, and set it up as a new device. Then you should be good to go for using Ziphone again.

I tried to power down by holding the top button but nothing happens. Is there an alternate way to power down?

hold the top button along with the home button until you see the apple logo.

Awesome. That worked and it appears it even jailbroke properly. Thanks a lot...I feel stupid for freaking out so much. Haha. You're the man.

No worries. Happens about 5 times a day around here. Glad you're sorted...
