Ideas 2 get iphone

I'm from Puerto Rico...At first the AT&T people at P.R. told me the iphone was comming 2 P.R. also...now its not

I'm going 2 be in California until the 30th....some ideas on how I can get the phone and take it back home with me!!!

Its there going 2 be a prepaid version? I havent being reading a lot about the iphone since I found out that they were not going 2 sell it in P.R. (got 2 mad)
And how would that work? Don't activate the simcard that they are going 2 give?

Im not 100 percent on the details but Maybe you could buy the prepaid and just put your existing sim card in it? Im not sure exactly sorry.
