On tunes, when i plug my phone it a error comes up that says, " The software required for the Iphone is not installed. Run itunes installer to remove itunes then install itunes again" I tried it and didnt work

Are you using iTunes 7.3.1 or later?

That's strange, Try re-installing iTunes and see if that works.

Are you running PC or Mac? Is the hardware port USB 2.0? I think a USB 2.0 port might be required.
