How to REALLY backup the phone?

I don't even remember what happened. You guys have been great in helping me not waste hours more time fumbling with mediocre Apple documentation. Really guys, you should get some royalty from Apple for providing great info on managing files on Windows. It's a PITA but doable. Now that I feel a lot more with my feet on the ground running, I think I'll be more productive all around.

Europa I haven't seen a Desert Eagle point five O since our only indoor range in my town closed. They had a new one for sale in it's display box and it was sweet. I managed to resisted the temptation to buy it. I prefer the 45 acp myself. It has all the stopping power I need. When you hit them with a 50 cal it's difficult to gauge the accuracy of your round placement, since body parts are everywhere unless you have a spotter.

I came from the Treo back ground and this forum and it's members have all been tremendous in enabling me to get the most out of my iPhone when I sought solutions to my problems and answers to my questions in a reasonable manner. Now if you are in your teens then I will cut you a wee bit more slack. No one likes or cares to help a whiner except big hearted Dave.

My glucose tolerance test came back at 500.

I'm not about to read the whole thread but for the record, sync != backup (aka sync doesnt equal backup). Backups only happen every few syncs unless they are turned off.

Don't set up as new phone after a restore, choose restore from backup and all should be well.
Hopefully that will help the next person.

My phone backs up every time I sync, not every few times.
