I bet she'd be happy when I bought her a new iPod, and we'd have lots of computers everywhere and an iPod in every car. And we could get on the plane and fly over to the US every gear to go to MacWorld and maybe do some shopping while we were there.

aaaaaah.
we could indeed talk techy stuff, i would be thrilled with gadget gifts (better than jewelry any day), and i would never, ever question you buying another computer.

my husband is a physicist and works as an engineer now, and while one would think that he's into tech stuff, he's NOT. i talk to him about mac and iphone stuff and he patiently listens but is never excited about any of it. hence my participation in sites like these to have some interaction about the stuff i love...

Thank you, macgirl. You rock! It's nice to see another girl on the forum, who isn't afraid to get down and dirty with her iphone.

Did Macgirl just say she's (happily) married??? Dang!

Enigmatic????......:wink :

Yeah, I know...I'm pathetic...

One a more serious note, it's thrilling to read the helpful posts from the girls. I still laugh when I recall the first time you revealed your gender on this forum after helping out a guy resolve a highly technical iPhone issue. Jaws dropped to the floor!

Years ago when 56k modems ruled the world, I worked for an ISP and more than half the Mac support team were girls. We called them "Digital Goddesses" and they were good!

Ok, enough already!

You are too sweet kakofonix. I must say, I'm usually hesistant to reveal my gender when I post on tech forums, for fear that I may not be taken as seriously. (Hence the very non-specifically gender identifiable screen name). Off the net, my interests range anywhere from triathlons to art. So naturally, most people are shocked when they find out I'm really just a tech geek at heart.

Super cool. I will try this in a little while. I hate it when i am listening to a ringtone that's playing and its like a blocked call or someone i don't want to answer haha and it goes to voicemail and i'm like gahhh i was enjoying that tune! lol

LOL...darnit, you caught me there Tinman. Alright, I guess I'll answer kakofonix's question: nope, I'm not married...just recently got out of a relationship in fact. So if anyone is interested, I'm open to requests.
