Default How to Back Up?

Wsup iPhone Community? I was wondering, how can i back up my contacts, pictures and stuff that has to be backed up. I just restored my phone because it wouldn't. Sucks b/c all my movies/music got deleted and my pictures. Thanks in advance

for my contacts i use yahoo address contacts, for music and movies they are always there in itunes, i had the same problem with my contacts.

I have a mac.

When I updated. I lost stuff like my favorites, you tube bookmarks, alarm clock settings, wallpapers... etc

I still had all my music and movies and contacts.

but I lost my personal settings.

I don't think there is any way of backing those things up, your gonna have to put them in manually every restore.
