How much slower is iPhone's Edge cabability vs. 3G on other networks?

Is there a reference I can check? Is it twice as slow etc? Thank you.

PS - I'm not making reference to WiFi - strictly the speed of EDGE.

This question is addressed a few times in the forums. Do a forum search (try "3G EDGE" as your terms) and see if you can't find what you're looking for. Pls repost if not. Thanks.

EDGE is slightly faster than a 56K dialup speed. I think 3G is 3-4 times faster, but not as fast as broadband 300K.
