The orange section labeled "other" in my itunes iphone capacity bar has 750MB of data in it. Is this the applications I have installed on my phone? I have only 22 applications installed, this would put the average size per app. at 33MB. What do you have there, curious.

298.1 MB. No one knows for sure, but it's stuff reserved for the iphone's operating system... maybe caches, maybe page files... who knows.

1.02 GB on mine
I think some of it is saved email,txt msgs,ect. It almost has to be downloaded stuff too because since the app store, mine has grown to 490 mb. It was at about 235 mb.Originally Posted by acosmichippo

My other is at about 500 MB. Thankfully I got the 16 GB so it isn't much of a problem, yet.

About 500mb. I don't have much stuff yet
Mine is at 550MB currently. And i think it houses my 40 apps
