In another thread someone mentioned something about the apps starting "really slow" because it was full (i.e. not much memory left on the phone, and I noticed mine is pretty full) I'm wondering if this could have something to do with it...

no its not any promlem with your software its the actual iphone get it replaced. i had the same problem iwth my first iphone last year so i know how annoying this is. but i kept it for a while before gettin it replaced and when i finnaly did they almost didnt give it to me becuase i had some dents on it so replace it ASAP. good thing this isnt a widerspread problem cuz your the only othe person ive ever heard having the same problem i had.
i know its the same exact problem
-sometimes it doesnt even wake teh phone when you press the home button unless you press it hard or multipul times.
-9 out of ten times you cannot open the playback controls by double tapping the home button
same thing right?
the apple workers that you show it to will recognize the problem right away the first time they try to press the home button because theyre so used to pressing the home buttons cuz they do it everyday at work so theyll push it like they normally do and it will not work.
