Default Help with email setup

I am having a hard time configuring my iPhone to retrieve my office email. I usually go to a website from home with the following configuration,
https://mail.mycompanyname.com/exchange
I then enter my user name and password.

Can anyone lend me some help. Anything would be very very appreciated.

We have OWA (outlook web access) at work and I just logged in with my iphone just fine. What kind of problem are you having?

What you described would be using a web browser to view, send and manage your email, it doesn't retrieve it like a typical email client. Many companies don't allow POP or IMAP access to their mail servers, so you may or may not be able to configure the mail client for your work email. Try using Safari.

Your IT staff might not like this, but there's a company out there called Synchronica that offers a solution where it let's your iPhone use the Mail app to access your Exchange servers over OWA. Check it out.
