Help Selling My 1st Generation Iphone! - iPhone 3G

I wasn't planning on getting the 3g Iphone but today I gave in and purchased one. As a result I am attempting to sell my 1st generation Iphone that has 2.0 software loaded onto it. My question is will I be able to somehow unlock this phone now since I have the 2.0 software downloaded onto it. Is there a way to go back to the 1.1 whatever software and then use ziphone to unlock the phone prior to me putting up the phone onto craigslist. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also do I take out my SIM card when i am ready to sell the phone to someone?

you can downgrade the firmware. I made a post about this a few days ago, read through the thread for your options.

and you do NOT want to give anyone your sim card, even if it isn't being used anymore.

8gb or 16gb? how much? I don't want a 3g phone, but I am damn near out of space on my 8gb v1 phone and cannot seem to find a 16gb that has not been unlocked.

It's an 8 Gb, wish it was a 16 gb.. Sounds like I would have a buyer if so. I put it up on my local craigslist for $275 and got a ton of replies. Not sure if the people realized that they wouldn't be able to unlock it since I downloaded the 2.0 software.

You can still downgrade it to 1.4

Doesn't sound like it matters to them. You better go ahead and sell it while you have the chance. I've got a feeling the market will be flooded by the end of next week.
