Default Help Needed Desperately!

Hi.. i had wrongly plugged in my iPhone into an old Bose iPod speaker system and seem to have short-circuited the phone. Now the battery is draining out real quick and also the phone is not charging... it just keeps getting terribly heated up. The city where I'm in (Chennai) does not have capable iPhone repair centres... Please help with suggestions!!!!

I wish there was comfort to give, but this is definitely a hardware issue that cannot be solved by yourself. You need to exchange or repair.

It's really a shame... there shouldn't be such a discrepency between iPods and iPhones that old accessories can totally fry a new device. It's just poor design.

You better have that phone checked or replaced. it might cause fire or possibly explode.

Yeah I wouldn't keep it plugged in if it's remaining hot. You're only going to cause more damage that way.
