So here is my story. Recently I was working on my pc and I decided to listen to some music via iTunes. I clicked on iTunes, nothing happened, clicked again, nothing happened. It acted like it wanted to start up, but just failed. Not error messages of any kind. So after being frustrated with it, I decided the simplest solution was to uninstall and reinstall. Did that. No luck. So being more frustrated, I researched this problem online. Concluded that I had to do a complete uninstall. So I uninstall itunes again, searched and scanned and poked until I found every trace of itunes on my pc. reinstalled itunes, badda bing badda boom, back in action, or so I thought. After having to reload my library and what not, sync my ipod which gave that message that this ipod was syned to another pc....I already knew that all the files were deleted so I had no choice. No problem. iPod is fine.
Now lets get to the iphone. Connected the iphone, pop messages stating the samething that it was synced with another pc..it asked to sync with this one, so I said sure. It said it will erase all content on my phone and sync it with this pc. So on my iphone I had about 6 GB of music already on there, same music that i have on my pc, i figure just like the ipod, I would have to re-sync since my library changed.
I tried to do so but I keep getting the message that my iphone does not have enough room for all the songs I selected, when the iphone does not have one song or one movie in it...its blank.
I ssh'ed into the phone...looked through it for music...nothing empty....
Is there any way around this short of a restore? I would hate to restore...
HELP, thanks in advance.
