Default Help !

This may be a dumb question but not for me

How come I cant have 2 different computers that I can sync my iPhone with.

I originally synced my iPhone with my PC at work but also have a dock at my PC at home, the one at home has mostly my 14yo songs and some of mine that were there from before.

So, is it possible to be able to sync with 2 PC's or not, if not how come?

TIA !

i believe the only way is to get an app on installer called swap tunes.
This app actually makes 2 music folders that you switch between for each computer. The downside is i think you can only play 1 music folder at a time. Which means you'll need to keep switching back and forth.

Hope this helps

Panth,
Thanks for the reply.
But... you lost me with the "app on the installer" part.
Not so tech savy guy here.

I just thought there was an easier way, it just stinks because I would have to transfer all my music from my other PC to the one at home.

Thanks again.

You have to transfer all the songs to the home computer, because once you sync with that one it will delete all of your songs.

YOu have to select the Manually Manage Music on the music tab of iTunes while your phone is syncing. Then you can sync it with different machines.
