Hello Guys I'm new to the site and could use your HELP!

I've been following the site since i got my iphone back in september. Its very useful and has helped me a lot. Unfortunately today i dropped my iphone and cracked the screen. I was wondering if any of you guys ever had this happen..I could use some feedback i dont know if its cheaper to repair or get another one. I didnt get the applecare plan. Any advice or input would be appreciated

It costs less to get the screen repaired. Just make sure that the phone isn't jailbroken and unlocked, and take it to Apple.

First let me say welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about your phone. There have been several post with this same problem. A new screen is $250 to replace. So the question becomes do you fix it or get a new one? I'm sure other people will respond with their views.

Welcome and sorry to hear that. Im pretty sure they just give you a refurb for the 250. I'd pay that and save the 150 you'd spend on another phone and get a case
