Default Headphone adapter solution!

Sorry if this has been posted. I saw on another forum that there is an "Ipod Shuffle Sport Case" which happens to include a small headphone adapter that works perfectly with the iphone and any standard headphone jack (like my Bose QC). After some searching, I found this case, with the adapter, for $10 at Circuit City. Don't need the case, but $10 for a perfect adapter isn't bad! You can also get it from Amazon.

Thanks for the tip! I've searched for this and can't seem to find it Can you tell me which "brand" it is?

I would really prefer to use the ear buds than these that caome with the phone!

They are an Apple product. You can order it from the Apple website, or maybe find it at an Apple store. Other places that carry ipod accessories might have them, too (Circuit City, etc.). They are 29$ from Apple, a bit cheaper from Amazon. I got lucky and found one at Circuit City that had been opened for 10$. The adapter works great! HTH!

You can also take an exacto knife and cut off a little bit of plastic around the jack. That costs nothing.

Thanks! Ok I have seen these but didn't see where it said anywhere that the adapter was included. Is the adapter always included?

Trimming the plastic does not work if the metal part within it is still too big for the iphone jack---as with Bose headphones for one.

My headphones are at home or i would take apicture for you. Just two or three millimeters of plastic is all you need. If youhave the Bose with the metal jacks, well, your just gonna have to buy the adapter.
