if you mean incase youhave to resore or something happens to your contacts and they get deleted, then all you have to do is sync your phone with itunes. then, when and if something happens, all you have to do is restore your phone and everything that was on your phone the last time you synced it will be on there, including contacts,sms, email, recent calls, voicemail, favorite numbers, etc. the only thing is everything on the ipod portion will be deleted and you will have to sync with ur itunes library on ur computer again
