Default Get a replacement iphone w/o a at&t contract.

I bought an iphone off of craigslist and i have applecare tell the 25th of June, i don't have at&t, i'm not the original owner, but i have applecare. is there Any chance of getting my iPhone 2G replaced!?!?!?! it turns off by its self every 3 hours and the battery life sucks (no its not turning off because of the battery life)

Yes, if they accept the battery life as a manufacturing problem.

They will make you activate the replacement phone before you leave the store.

I had my iPhone 3G replaced due to battery life + issues with the network (may have been the actual network but I threw the blame on the iPhone). You might get stuck however since you're not on AT&T... They will activate the iPhone before you leave the store, like previously said. And, if you're not on AT&T....well, you can't activate the iPhone at the store. Stuck.

i called up and there sending me a box, i was honest with the guy and said i didnt have at&t and he said it was ok!
