Question FM transmitter or other device to play iPhone in car?

Does anyone know of a device that works with the iPhone to play through the car speakers? I purchased a DLO FM Transmitter because someone on another forum said he had luck with it working, but mine wouldn't and I've seen on other threads that I wasn't alone

I have a 2003 Toyota so I don't have the new technology to simply plug the iPhone into the car; I need something that plays through the radio in some way. Has anyone had any luck in finding something that works? I just got home from a 1000 mile trip over the holidays and not being able to listen to my iPod while I drove was not fun and was the reason I had the DLO so I was bummed to say the least when it didn't work.

Anyone have any suggestions or find luck in something? If you've had luck I would LOVE to know what worked for you - Thanks to everyone in advance!

I haven't found anything that works perfectly. The iTrip will work, but from time to time you will experience interference. I've used two different ones and the itrip was the best of the two, but neither works as well as the standard ipods.

I can tell you that the DLO transdock fm transmitter will work with the iPhone. It's about 100 bucks but well worth it. It actually has hardly any interference issues and is a nicer docking style.

If your car is "that" old, don't you have a tape deck? You could use an old-fashioned tape deck connector.

If your stock deck has cd changer controls you can buy an adapter for that which will give you a line out.

Google is your friend, use it.

I would recommend typing in 2003 Toyota *insert model* stereo line out, or 2003 Toyotal *insert model* cd changer line out

Or something along those lines.
