Countdown really begins now!
Well its Friday afternoon and the time is ticking away. In about 2 days or less depending on when you read this, it will be d-day ( I don't want to call is iDay2 yet). No one knows for sure if Apple will release the iphone 2 the same day or weeks later( if at all, but sources are point towards it). The wait is killing me. We only have the weekend to get through and as for Monday at 12pm EST, I will be tuned into the live blogs of the WWDC. Good thing here in NYC, the weather will be great this weekend. I will be out and about killing time.
I do have one thing to mention as most of you know, product availability is not usually the same day when dealing with Apple. I'm not holding my breathe about it at this point. feel free to add more..... UPDATE : its 1PM EST that WWDC starts.....10am PST....

I am very excited to see what Apple does as well. I do not plan to buy a new iPhone any time soon, if one is released, as I am very satisfied with my current iPhone and I spent 600 dollars on it. I am not a huge fanatic, but I would love to go through the iPhone excitement again. I just don't feel that this is quite as exciting. I would love to have a GPS and such, but I just don't feel that it will be worth whatever the cost.

By the time I knew what the iPhone was, it had been out for 2 months, so I am understandably more excited than most. Funny how all these rumor threads, blogs, and newswires have cought my attention. I now find myself uncontrolably checking the net for any new news or theories, and I now feel compelled to try out the whole "get in line" thing.
However, I am not sure that this new iphone will deliver, so I will buy it, but will not open it until I have read some reviews and watched some youtube video reviews. Besides, I'll have plenty to do just to update my current iPhone to 2.0 and unlock /jailbreak it. Hopefully that comes soon too. |

When the 1st gen iPhone first came out and for several weeks thereafter I was thinking "No not me! I will not succumb to Apples awesome marketing and get one." Well the ending to that story is pretty obvious and I feel this is going to be the same for iPhone2. I don't need 3G I have WiFi, I have GPS on several devices and I don't need it on the iPhone but hot damn I want one badly and I have not even seen it yet.
