Default corporate discount and 3G vs V1 plans?

so since they will be allowing corporate discount on 3G phones does that mean that "apple" allows it for iPhone plans? With v1 they were saying apple won't do iPhone corporate discounts, so can I just go in and remind them?

Now about the plans, cheapest voice plan is $39 for both, unlimited txting is still $20 for both, v1 data is $20 and 3G is $30

So right now I'm paying $79 for v1 plan $89 is 3G unlimited txt and data??

Can you get 3G iphone with just edge data plan so I will still PAy the same?

Let me know if I Got some things wrong?

yea, i am interested in retaining my original iphone plan (39.99/450 minutes, $20 iphone unlimited data, $10 1500 texts) which comes out to be $69.99 +federal whatever.

would AT&T know/do anything if i were to procure a 3g iphone and just pop my sim in it?

better yet, will i have to agree to the 3g plan when i buy a new phone legitimately?

You must sign up for a 3G data plan when activating the iphone 3G. You don't have to buy the text plan. You can not use a 3G iphone with just he EDGE plan.

so if i put my original iphone sim into a 3g phone it wont work at 3g speeds? or will it put up a flag saying you have to change your account to a 3g plan?

i currently have a samsung sync (SGH-A707) that i occasionally swap into and it does 3g speeds without an added cost to my bill. isnt that how sims are supposed to work? (more or less)

The 3G iphone won't be activated unless you set up a new account at At&t/Apple/or through iTunes. When you activate it, you'll have to get the 3G data plan.

I just picked up my 3g iphone today. And all i can say is WOW so much better than v1. Anyway i kept my 1 year contract from my regular iphone onto this one. All i had to do was pay the extra 10$ for the 3G data plan and an extra 5$ for texting.

I still dont see any answers about the corporate discount and iphones and V1 iphones and such, they allow on 3G plans but not V1? is voice plan still $39?? is unlimited txt still $20 on the 3G? unlimited data is the only thing that will be $10 more at $30??

what if i buy iphone 3G from someone who has activated and now selling it, will i be able to just pop my v1 sim card in and be able to use it??

no you cant. The 3G uses a special sim from what im told. Why not just buy it from apple. Pay 215 and your good to go? After using my 3g iphone the v1 is garbage compared to this thing!

215 how? That's only for new customers, I had mine for half a year, also there is no special sim, sim I have on now says 3g on it,

no its not. Customers who bought the previous iphones can go to the apple store, tell them that you want to transfer your existing contract over to the new one, add 5$ for text msgs. and the 10$ for the extra data plan charge. And you walk out with only paying 215$

Secondly just because the sim says 3G on it doesnt mean anything. They use the same sim cards for the older iphones because it was pointless wasting money making a new sim. But apple did it this time. You cannot put any other sim in the phone (even if its a v1 sim) it will still not activate the phone.
