Reading Walt Mossberg's review from the WSJ, it hit me that people are looking at this new product all wrong.... It's not a cell phone or IPOD, but a computer that fits in your pocket that happens to have those features. Mossberg refers to the device as a computer and he has it right... the Iphone is a computer that fits in your pocket. Seems like Jobs mentioned that before.
The fact that the IPhone has OSX built in (although modified), would indicate great things are yet to come for the device. The lack of a lot features mentioned in Mossberg's and other reviews is tempered with the knowledge that this software is upgradeable with updates and also entirely new versions.
Touch screen is a great innovation which will only carry over to desktops in the near future, hopefully with the new IMAC.
The battery issue will not be an issue....If you live close to an apple store it will be a few minutes to change it out I'm sure. If not there be hacks of the device showing us how to do it ourselves.
Well just a few thoughts.....I will be inline tommorrow like a lot of you.....
Peace
ATT is not that bad...
