Does it matter?

Your going to need a card to sign up for an iTunes account which is required to activate the phone. I;m not spending nine hour sin a line with $600 cash in my pocket.

I will be using a Card because I get 1% back on purchases and double the manufacturers warranty.

I'll be using my credit card that has some form of product protection thingy. Could come in handy.

Was thinking the same thing. I started my ITUNES account with my g/f card. So I dont expect any trouble activating my IPHONE

Better be careful, I suspect that your monthly bill will automatically charged to whatever card is on the iTunes account. Your g/f might be in for a surpise when she gets her bill.

You don't need a credit card to have an itunes account.
