Can this method unlock an OOB 1.1.2??

Hey guys, last night I was searching the web when I found a method said to unlock 1.1.2 and I was wondering if it might work on a OOB 1.1.2.

Please let me hear your opinions about it and if you think it wont work, let me know why do you think so, Thanks.

So you have your OOB 1.1.2, so what you need to do is:
- First is downgrade it to 1.1.1.
- Jailbreak it
- Install again the latest 1.1.2, the one you use to have
- You use Anysim.

Right now i dont have an iPhone but like in a week or so I will, so what do you think about this method?? Is it 100% proved that you cant do it this way??

I did it today, it took awhile but it worked, thanks to Chris. I have OOB 1.1.2, now modded. Also did it on my husbands iipod touch.

Are you serious??? wow that sounds like finally i definitely will unlock my iPhone in about a week, i was kinda nervous that it would get stucked in its box for some weeks.

I believe what iphoneconnie did was jailbreak her 1.1.2 phone only, not unlock. (iphoneconnie, if I am mistaken, please let me know).

that is correct she just jailbroke her phone... currently a 1.1.2 otb unlock is not available
