Default Calendar Appointments Keep Dissapearing!!!

I just loaded about 20 appointments in my calendar on the iPhone (not from an exchange or e-mail, by hand) and the calendar went black...and then proceeded to the main menu. I went back into the calendar to find that ALL of the appointments throughout the entire calendar were gone.

Please help!

Did you sync your phone in iTunes after you manually put in all of the appointments? If so, the sync might have just replaced your Exchange calendar in place of the iPhone one. Usually you have an option that won't replace your calendar but rather merge them.

I read your post. You said you went to the home menu. From that time to the time you reopened the Calendar I had no idea what you did.

Maybe I was not being specific enough. Let me clarify: I entered in appointments by hand into my iPhone with out syncing it. As I was entering an appointment the screen went black and the phone exited the calendar and went to the main screen where all the icons are. When I went back into the calendar all of the appointments were gone. EVERY single one was gone. I restarted my phone and the calendar is still blank.

Ah. It appears as if your Calendar application crashed as you were putting the appointments in. I'm assuming that just as when Safari crashes all of the pages go blank the same thing is going to happen within Calendar. This usually wouldn't happen but I'm sure it is just a result of the application crashing. Unfortunately I do not think there is a way to get the appointments back.

Before you go to put the appointments back in trying going into Settings->General->Reset->Reset All Settings. That will hopefully leave your phone a bit more stable for when you go to put the appointments back in.
