Free Wi-Fi calls from 17,000 AT&T Hotspots for iPhone...

Does this include iPhone v. 1.0? Do you have to join a "hotspot" plan do take advantage?

It was yet another mistake - AT&T pulled that from their site (see Engadget's article here). It's been discussed a few times here already, though.

It's a shame that BGR never updated their article - they should have gone back to note that AT&T retracted it...

Something is obviously brewing on the AT&T website. If you go to Explore/Internet-messaging, and select any of the WiFI links, you get the same defaulting web page. Very curious.
