Default AT&T can receive mail but cant sent

I am having trouble sending email. I can receive mail but cannot send mail. I am using Outlook and Pop3. I syncronized the email with iPhone and should have correct settings I guess. Any suggestions?

Who is your provider? Many email accounts will not allow sending email through their outbound servers if you are not logged into their account. It prevents people from using their servers to send mass market emails. You can change your outgoing server to cwmx.com which is AT&T's outbound server for email on the iPhone.

Thanks Griffin, I will give that a shot. I see you have a Softail, I ride a E-Glide. Ride safe.

We use BellSouth (AT&T) as our ISP and to send mail through Mac Mail on my MacBook, I have to tell it to use BellSouth's outbound SMTP server and not, for instance, .Mac's SMTP. I suspect it's probably the same with Outlook.
