Thanks, we went purely on gut instinct or just with companies we felt good about and their products and not numbers at all, and so it is good for me to see your post and hear from a numbers guy or statistics whatever you want to call it.

thanks,

Jeff

i've heard of these 'experiments' before where a researcher will take a sample of stocks from people that don't know much about the market and compare it to a portfolio of a stock analyst.

the results are usually pretty astounding. moral of the story? the stock market is a crap shoot.

Well, to explain this a little further. We were all believers and still are, in the Law of Attraction and that we have inner guidance that we mostly ignore all the time.
That the thinking mind or conscious mind always messes things up by interfering with this inner guidance. Once your mind enters into to it, it talks you into and out of things all the time.
We wanted to just go with a gut feeling and my first pick was Apple because I love the company and all their products. I like Steve Jobs and his presentations and so forth. I knew nothing about this company from a stock point of view.
If you feel good and positive and appreciate your surroundings and all you have created in this moment, the story goes, or should I say, the Law, that you will have more of the same, what you are focused on primarily, good or bad. I do not want to debate this thinking and I know for a fact it is true by looking over my past life ups and downs.
Just wanting to mention how this all came about and why this was my pick not knowing the numbers or any of that analytical stuff.

Jeff

I brought a bunch of shares in 1997 when it was $4.25 and Apple was on the verge of bankruptcy. What a come back!

See I totally was thinking of getting stock in AAPL and I totally agree that it's sometimes the best move to just go with companies you love and think have a solid product, not just hype or "insider" anything. As for if this is the best time to be getting into Apple I suppose isn't anything anyone really could know - but if the iphone is a huge hit I will be beating myself if I didn't get in on some of it beforehand. :-\

But you have to avoid the "thinking with your heart instead of with your head" trap.

I think this was mentioned in another thread too, but I've been watching, closely, and kicking my self for not jumping in at the end of '06. I still want in though.

Why can't we sync our phones to two different PC's? I use a laptop mostly now, and my son has taken over my iMac which is 3 yrs. old. It has all pics and itunes music on it, but I have downloaded three seasons of LOST on my laptop and also other itunes content. It's a shame I cannot hook up my iphone to Both pc's without a problem or losing anything.
Is there any tricks for doing this? I believe back in June I was told that the phone can only be synced with ONE pc.

Thanks,

Jeff
