Man, its a great thing im computer litterate. thanks to those who replied as well..
I figured out what happened..
For anyone in the future.. if you sync any media to your Iphone, and it does not show up in the ipod section, and yet your itunes shows used up "other" memory heres what happens(what happened to me)
it got stored under: var/mobile/media/itunes_control/music...
now there were about 50 folders, each containing music files, must have been corrupted or something of that matter... anyways when your at this point, delete each folder they will be named (00, 01, etc), and then re-sync your music through Itunes.. thats what i did and it worked great!
also, your going to need a iphone browser.. the program i used thanks to one of the guys who helped me out is Iphone PC Suite..
now heres where another problem can occour.. you open it up(pc suite) and, it says you need to update a patch through the installer app.. Well if you have the same problem as i did, it kept
oppenning and closing(installer app).. if this occours do this:
open installer, then from a seperate phone, call your cell emediatly, as soon as your cell phone rings, hang up(not from ur cell) then your installer app will open correctly, and you will be able to do what you need to do from your installer app..
now let me mention that my Iphone is 1st gen, and is running on firmware 1.1.3 and was unlocked with Ziphone.. so if your in the same situation, hope this information is helpful...
thanks to everyone who helped out once again!!
