Oh well then I stand (or I guess sit in this case) corrected The first iPod I bought was a G4 (I believe) and it was $300. I thought the previous models were also that amount but I guess not, my fault.

I don't think that they will release a new version of the iPhone any time soon because of Leopard and the fact that they are probably going to design a new iPod next.
