2-4 Week Wait

Hello Everybody,

Did a search for the strings, "apple.com wait iphone" and "2-4 weeks" and didn't find anything, so I thought I would ask if anyone else had placed an order for an 8 gb iPhone, seen that it said would ship in 2 - 4 weeks, and either received their iPhones earlier or later. Obviously, I hoping that mine will come earlier, but only time will tell! But, in the mean time, give me a little hope, if you can!

I would assume it would come earlier especially since every apple store I've been to or heard of has a huge stock of them on hand, I see no reason why apple would take 2 - 4 to deliver.

They just estimate 2-4 weeks I ordered a case that said 2-4 weeks and it came in 2 days I was amazed they shipped the same day I ordered it. But thats just a case but seeing how they have so many i think just 2-4 weeks is an estimate so you dont expect it sooner

I ordered mine on iDay and recieved it the following Friday, exactly one week later. I was happy not to wait hours in line or pay extra just to wait one measly week.

I did walk in to the AT&T store at 6pm local time to order it though instead of waiting for the nationwide online rush. Don't know if that made any difference what so ever.

I picked mine up from an apple store on Tuesday after iDay. I was in and out in under 5 minutes.

i ordered my iPhone on iDay and i got it exactly a week later.. so not even the 2 weeks!!

I went to apple store the first Monday after iDay

Same I got my on at & t, Monday after release date. I think people thought the supply was going to be much tighter that it actually is.

mine was ordered online on july 3rd in the afternoon and it says it's going to ship by this coming friday (20th). the wait is killing me.

i know how you feel, the wait while shipping is insane.
