Default $100 Iphone Credit
Just called my local Apple Store & they said they weren`t taking any discounts on the 3G phone. Has anyone used their "early adopter" $100 discount coupon to purchase the 3G Iphone?

i called about an hour ago hoping to get a law enforcement discount. no luck!

do you mean the apple store credit from buying the v1 iphone before the price drop?? i didnt because i didnt get one lol but im sure someone has

You should be able to use the discount, I don't know why they wouldn't let you. Well I guess I do, but I still don't see any limit on the credit stating that it can't be used for any future iPhones. Keep trying.

Yes, that credit! There are other threads about no corp discounts at this time but has anyone actually used their $100 rebate for purchasing the 3G?

I just got back from buying the 16 gig in white and I used that coupon. You must have the printed out upc code. Also if they say you cant use it buy a $100 gift card then use the gift card. There is always a way around it.

i used mine...no problem...got my 16gb for 199.99...

Thanks! That clears it up for me! The Apple Store is 3 times as far as the closest AT&T Store so I will go to the Apple Store to use my credit. Looks like I will have to wait for awhile as all the Stores are out of stock. I will call everyday now to see when more come in. I hate to stand in line, so I will just have to wait. I lost my V1 in May & im lost without my Iphone! Im going for the WHITE 16G!!!

lol yall are so lucky to actually have the 3g one. I want one so bad, but I am 15, barely any money, and parents dont wanna upgrade my contract. Lol
