I just called apple and they are taking down your name and number to call you on the 29th the rep. going to call me at 6:45am thats wen his shift starts so....thats my plan B.

what benefit does this have? it sounds like nothing more then a wake-up call at a hotel.

Is there a way to pre-order/prepay for the iphone? Are any of you worried about a shortage??

There's been no mention of any pre-orders yet. Actually, Cingular/At&t sent a corporate letter to all stores that there would be NO pre-orders taken.
