1.1.4 fixed my Other category

After 1.1.3, many people reported the Other category on their iPhones jumped without explanation. Mine increased to 273MB. After installing 1.1.4 Tuesday, I didn't notice any change, but after syncing this morning, I noticed that my Other section had reduced to only 61 MB. We all figured this was some sort of snafu with the previous firmware that Apple would eventually straighten out, but I'm just glad to see they did.

Has anyone else noticed the reduction?

I have not sync'ed since I updated. Think my other is 232mb. I will try this and see if it works. Hope it does!!!

Just did a sync and there was no difference. Still have 233mb of other.

Sorry. Maybe it was something else then. I also synced some of picture folders. See if that will help you.

233 mb??? What?!?! I have 820 mb of other... I've tried restoring about 4 times but nothing would work... And it makes me mad because that is almost a gig of space that i can't use nor can it seem to go away

It didn't help mine i have a 4gig iPhone and have 410mb of other

Wow. And I was crying over 233mb? Guess I should be happy. Almost 1gig is crazy. Something needs to be done about this.

I've gained 133,5 MB back with the 1.1.4 update. Glad they solved it.

I'm still on 1.13, but I'll check when I update in a few days. I haven't synced in a while, so I'm unaware of exactly how much I have, but I know there's a good hunk of it.
