Please help!! How do you turn a video into a wallpaper?

I have downloaded this video... I can't post the actual video but here is a youtube example.

How do I get it to be a wallpaper on my iPhone?

the same way you get a video on iTunes.... You need it to be decrypted and then in mp4 format. I use videora iPhone converter to do this. Then I change it to .mov and use open ssh to stick it in the vwallpaper directory. O it needs to loop over and over, as well.


I'm on my iPhone so I only see a little blue box. But if you just stick whatever video it is onto your desktop, then use the videora iPhone converter..... Free download by the way....

lot easier than that, just install MX Tube and Finder, download the video using MXTube, then go into finder and find the movie under var/mobile/media/MxTube, then look down in that folder, there will be two different types of files, one with a blank paper icon and a filename.mp4 so scroll down and find the thumbnail video that is the one you want (its a .THM file), look at that file name and go up and click on the .mp4 video with the same file name. on the bottom of the screen click file, then copy. now hit the "up" button to go back, go into the skrew folder, then go into the videos folder, and click paste. hit your home button, go into video wallpaper, and select your video. its easier than writing that whole thing up. hit me up if you have any questions.

just read the whole post saying you can't host it (i'm assuming its some type of porn or nudity). so just open ssh, and add the video to the same folder you would paste it into in the above directions.

I think it wastes a lot of battery , but w/e its still cool

Yeah. I agree with lj23witness on this. I wouldn't get a moving wallpaper, its not that worth it. It's just a battery drainer. Also, congrats to lj23witness on your 500th post!!

i never had any issues with it draining battery. just leave your auto lock on 1 minute and whenever you put your phone in your pocket just hit the auto lock and put it in sleep mode. i got so many compliments from vwallpaper. can't wait til it comes out for 3g.

Yeah. It should be cool, especially if it doesn't in fact drain battery. I'll have to see for myself. I hope its a free app.

Does it affect memory/resources? Does it cause lag when moving from page to page? I really want it when it comes out for 3G but if it slows the phone down, I might have to reconsider.
