I saw it last night.

It is FANTASTIC!

Hawk, Good Day Sir.
I did not stay through the credits, I had to relieve myself.
Did I miss something?

Dana

iron man is in the vein as Batman returns and Transformers. I thought it was killer and so did my son and nephew. Would go and see it again.

Yes, you did. It's small, but hints at something much bigger on the horizon from the Marvel Studios.
I'll PM it to you if you aren't going to go see it again. I'm not going to post it out here though, because I don't want to ruin it for anyone else.

On the subject of Iron Man the movie. As a rule, I LOATHE origin stories for superheroes we already know about. I mean I don't care who got bit by a mutated spider, who got saturated with some weird radiation, or any of that. I just want them to start the movie saving the day. Well, that being said, I think it is different in this movie. The origin aspect actually works for me, because the origin makes him BECOME good. It was about a journey. All those other superheroes were good guys that got cool powers. This guy was a real JERK and through this experience he suddenly decided to better himself. THIS is what kids need to see. Someone learning from their mistakes and trying to correct them. Iron Man could be a real rolemodel for kids. And then of course, there are the KICK A$$ special effects! But yes, the story was great, and I totally enjoyed the movie. A great action packed superhero movie that sneaks in a handy moral.

I loved the movie, it rocked. Ok, I work for Paramount Studios and we distributed the movie. So I'm going to be a little bias there. But considering the crap Paramount chucks out, I was actually impressed with this one.

Did you guys wait until the credits finished and catch the little clip right at the end? A little surprise for everyone!!

Hawk

Thank you, Sir.

I appreciate the offer of a PM, but I will definitely see the movie again, and relieve myself earlier in the movie.

Good Day

Dana

Good stuff Hayes. I've been wanting to see this one anyway, but that seems like another good thing in its favor ....

I just went and saw it for the 3rd time last night. Still as good as the first time! Still trips me out looking at Jeff bridges... Reminds me of Kris Kristopherson, but bald...
