FOr those of you that do sync with Outlook at home, here is another little app for the home PC that will since your desktop's Outlook calendar to your Google Calendar, and you can set how and how often it syncs!!

I have great news for you. I just remembered that I had 2 events created on my iphone calendar. Having said that I just checked to see if those 2 were still on my iphone (before I did the google calendary sync) and guess what, they are there! So google calendar doesn't erase anything. (in my case that is)

If you are worried about losing your contacts, get the free funambol app from the app store and sync your contacts to their server. Then if you lose your contacts it's an easy fix.

You don't have to worry about contacts when using Nuevasync.com . It let's you choose either gmail/calendar/contacts which ever you want. I only used calendar option.

I followed the instructions and my iPhone calendar was completly wiped - not one entry remaining. It didn't even transfer the one item I had entered in Google calendar. I'm looking forward to several hours of reentering my calendar information. I'm sure the program works for some people, but be aware that it has some SERIOUS problems.

I'm using Windows Vista if that makes any difference.

I was able to get it to work on the second try. It didn't take too long to reenter everthing off of the backup (paper) calendar. It may be that I did something wrong the first time, or, the application could just assume you want to overwrite your iPhone calendar the first time with blank data.

It wont sync with my phone. I set it up like the instructions said with the exception of putting just the user name for the email addy like the OP said. Got no errors but I dont see it syncing.

I just helped out another friend of mine setting it up today and it worked like a charm. I wonder what you did wrong? Did you enable it on nuevasync.com?
