Default Yahoo! Push Problems

About a week ago, my Yahoo! email randomly stopped being sent to my phone. I can email out through the account, but push never works and manually checking email throught that account only works every once in a while (gmail works fine.) Anybody have similar issues or suggestions?

Same issues here. Couldn't figure out how to resolve it and just made a new Gmail account to use.

Well, I deleted the account, re-added it, then synched each folder individually by tapping on it from the phone (not sure why I had to do this) then I deleted all the messages from the my inbox online. Push now seems to work again.

So is it still working? i have had several issue where it quits working. i will delete the account from my iPhone and it seems to work fine for maybe a day, then just quits. Just about ready to give up, and go back to use my .Mac account. Having it check every 15 or 30 minutes I get my mail faster then the 'push' email from Yahoo!

Yahoo Mail as setup via my iPhone has yet to work for me consistently. I can sometimes send mail but can NEVER receive it. It just does the Connecting.....Checking Mail..... forever. I even tested it last night by turning off the screen lock and seeing how long it would go. It knows no end.

I have had a few other serious issues with my iPhone and will be exchanging it this weekend so I guess it could just be me. Mine bricked on me the second day I had it and it was worthless until I got it to iTunes, downloaded a 91MB firmware file, installed that, fully restored it and started over.

...trying to enjoy it...

Since I have removed all other email accounts on my iPhone and just use Yahoo, push seems to work much, much better. I only wish I could change the reply-to address that is uses as I hate having a @yahoo.com account.

Not sure why apple doesn't do push with their .Mac accounts, although maybe this will be coming soon.

I don't think adding or deleting accounts is the solution. I have done this over and over and I have a Yahoo account that just will NOT receive email.

What is weird is that I created a brand new Yahoo Mail account, added that one (on top of 3 Gmail accounts, a Yahoo account and my .mac account) and that NEW Yahoo Mail account can send and receive.

I did some tests today and it seems, for me, that my .mac account is the fastest at sending and receiving.

I tried using Yahoo Help but it is WORTHLESS and I was eventually forwarded to some ATT site that has NOTHING to do with my issue.

I really may be done with Yahoo, especially with that BS advertising they put as your signature..

Same here, yahoo is no help. My e-mail is hit and miss. In buisness you have to be careful who you hitch your wagon to....
