why is customize so bloody stupid?

ok.
here's where I'm at right now.

about 2 months ago, I took the plunge and updated my phone to 1.1.2. everything was fine and then I started to use all my previously used apps (smb, customize, books, apollo, etc) and at one point I screw with customize a bit too much. I try to go from having 5 icons in dock to having just two.

it freaked.
crashed, and then quit. I ran smb and resprung.. and wound up with an iPod touch keypad for enter pass. puzzled I entered my pw and when I was let in it showed no icons on the springboard and 'ipod' where it should say tmobile.

I flipped my shit, dan to the computer restored to 1.1.1 did the bb downgrade restored again ran anySIM. everything was as it was much earlier, when I was on 1.1.1.
I swore never to update to 1.1.2 again cause I thought it was bad firmware.
one month, 22 days later (lol) I upgraded to 1.1.2. cause I wanted me some ringtone.
guess what happens three days later?

again. I've been ipodified.
so I figure this time its customizes fault.
search for a bit and find the proper files required to make it fine again.

apparently, overuse of rSBT leads to m68ap plist corruption.

why?

What ever that guy is on I need some, and I just downed a bottle of Cabo. Anyhoo, the ringtone thing is for 1.1.2 so he got it all wrong.
