Question What's the verdict? Upgrade or not?

Now that the dust has settled some what do people think about upgrading to 3.1.2?

Are there significant problems or is it a go?

I have seen nothing but good from 3.1.2. If you like to JB your phone, you can do that here.
I don't know if there is an unlock ready yet though.

DT I guess you meant nothing but good. So far it seems to be a very stable update and unlock is being worked on but no guarantees.

Many of the apps I use have new updates available only on 3.1.2, so I'll be updating momentarily.

No hacked MMS (or manually updated carrier), app-compatible firmware, all new features/updates, performance + speed increase. My question is why wouldn't you upgrade?

The only reason I can think of for staying on 3.0 would be for unlock. Hopefully that will change soon for 3.1.2.

Sigh. You CAN upgrade to 3.1.2 with PwnageTool and keep your unlock. You can even do it on Windows, you just need to get a Pwn'd 3.1.2 ipsw from a friend with a Mac, etc.
