Some sort of AIM app, an MMS app is available and SlingPlayer (eventually I hope). I'll probably end up buying tons once they're released though.

The AppStore won't be able to fix MMS.
The jailbroken app will only let you send MMS—there's no way to receive them. Additionally, you have to ask AT&T to enable it—which you would need another phone for since AT&T blocks MMS by IMEI number if it believes it's tied to an iPhone. That said, MMS is an old technology people refuse to give up. Let it die already! |

When I gt my Iphone I will probably add the following apps when they become available since I use all of them now on my Blackjack 2
Splash ID Splash Money Splash Shopper Pocket Informant The Splash products I've been using for years when I had them on my Palm based Treo and T/E, T/X. |

AIM app for free! Don't you think the new googletalk webapp for iPhone is a bit pointless, seeing as how the AIM app will be available for free from the app store, and it can do googletalk.
