Default Text Messaging--Mass Text Possible?

I want to give everyone I know my new number with a Mass Text. Is this possible on i-phone?

I have tried and made no progress.

Thanks a lot.

So far, no solution for that yet. It's currently not capable of multi-contact SMS.

Man, what if someone has to tell 250 people their new number?

That sucks.

Yeah, I need this feature for my business. I really need this enabled on the next update! Apple if you are listening, please please do this soon... I'm up a creek otherwise....

I know. I can't believe they didn't add that ability. They handled more complex matters and forgot something so simple, practical, and vital.

Default I Phone solution for mass texting

Just gopt off the phone with Apple; spent about 30 minutes. Even they weren't aware of the issue.

The limit on mass texting is imposed by AT&T, not sure why.

If you go to: I Phone Home> Setting> Messages>MMS Messaging and turn "Off"; you can send mass texts (over 10) but no picture. If you want to send pics, you have to set MMS back to "on", but you can't send to more than 10 people.

Hope this helps.

I'm sure that info will help someone Forti just not the posters before you since the thread died over 2 years ago.

1. For each cell phone number in your address book, go here to find out which carrier they use.
2. Then go here to find out the email address for that carrier.
3. Add new email address to contact.
4. Use this App to send a mass email to those email addresses you obtained in Step 1&2.
